6-28-09 WOW! Finaly got in a full
night of racing! BONE 93.5 Carload Night
had a good turnout. If you are interested in racing the
FREEDOM 200 enduro race the early entry price ends this Thursday
at midnight. Friday July 3rd everyone gets in free with a voucher.
6-21-09 Ditto from last week, we
got the makup feature races in and the heat races for Saturday's
race and it RAINED AGAIN! Mother nature is being very unkind
to Altus Speedway in 2009. The good news is that next week (6-27-09)
is $10 CARLOAD NIGHT! Brought to you by The Bone 93.5fm
"Real Radio That Rocks!". It will be a full evening
of racing and mayhem! We will makeup feature races from 6-20 plus
a full race show for Hornets, Chargers and SuperStocks. The Bombers
will have two races also the "Drive-in Bank Race" and
the "Team Relay Race".
6-15-09 Well here we are rained
out again. We did manage to get the heat races and the skid car
race in before the rain came. We will
be running double feature races next Saturday 6-20
and the Drive-In Bank Race. The Bomber mattress race will not
be run. Everyone will get to see more races but ticket prices
are regular.
6-7-09 The Skid
Cars were
rained out last week so we are moving them to June 13th, plus
we will still be running the
Drive-In Bank race too!!!

4-12-09 Opening night was rained
out, but we did manage to get the car show in before the rain.
Winners were: SuperStock #24 David Welch, Charger #13 Danene Heskett,
Hornet #24 Damon Welch, USST #12 Kevin Jones.
4-5-09 New class sponsors for Super
Stock and Charger divisions. The 2009 class sponsor for the Super
Stock division will be Eyecare Optical Shops. VVA Bingo has come
onboard to sponsor the 2009 Charger class. Window decals will
be available at the car show.
2-22-09 Posted a couple of changes
to the schedule. Opening night has been changed to April 11th
so we don't conflict with the NASCAR race in Texas. Two Super
Truck dates were changed and we added some Novelty Races.
1-26-09 Final draft of the 2009
rules is now posted. Few changes were made from the rules we finished
2008 with. Still anyone interested in participating in our events
should take a look.
1-16-09 Lower pit pass prices announced!
Pit pass price has been lowered to $15 for regular races.
1-10-09 2009 The 2009 event schedule
is now posted. We are still working out the details on some of
the events but the dates are confirmed.
